What is the Maynard Community Dance Band? The Maynard Community Dance Band is a smaller group of musicians who also play in the concert band. This group was formed to give our members an opportunity to play big band and classic dance band music. Some of our songs include "Stardust," "Zoot Suit Riot," "In The Mood," and "Woodchopper's Ball." For the 2008 summer concert season we performed some new songs including "When You Wish Upon a Star", "Spanish Eyes," and "Teddy Bears' Swingin' Picnic." These new songs are sure to become new favorites. |
