Maynard Community Band Join the Band

Come join our musical family!

Why should YOU join the Maynard Community Band?

1. You'll get a chance to meet new friends who share a love of playing music together.
   
   
2. You'll get a chance to play a variety of music including waltzes, marches, polkas, latin music, big band/dance band songs, patriotic songs, Christmas songs, and even show tunes!
   
   
3. During our concerts we like to provide surprises for our audiences! We offer special theme nights such as "Hawaiian Night" and "Caribbean Night" where the band dresses in colorful attire. During "The Pirates of the Caribbean" or a Disney selection or you might see a band member dress like a pirate or as one of your favorite Disney characters. During marches we love to let audience members become guest conductors.
   
   
4. You do NOT need to audition to join the band and there aren't any membership fees.
   
   
5. You'll have a great time (I promise!)

 

The Maynard Community Band welcomes new musicians of all instrumental talents and ages are encouraged to join us. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 7 - 9 PM at the Concord Street Circle Senior Center. Just bring your instrument and a music stand.
